Zoe Ellison

Zoe Ann Ellison, 67, of Littleton, passed away at 5:33 am on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at her home in Littleton.

She was born on March 23, 1958 in Salem, Arkansas, the daughter of Shirley (D’Camp) Bassham & the late Wiley Bassham. She married Larry Ellison; the love of her life, on June 12, 1987, in Florida, and he preceded her in death on April 14, 2023. Together, they shared 38 years of marriage.

Zoe was a hospitality worker at the Par-a-dice Casino in Peoria for several years until her retirement in 2023. Zoe enjoyed traveling & visiting new places. She enjoyed many trips with Larry over the years. Zoe had a kind heart and would often pledge her time helping others and volunteering at church & church functions.

Besides her mother, Shirley, of Littleton, Zoe is survived by her son Chris (Cary) Hoshor of Roanoke, three grandchildren; Alexis Hoshor, Ethan Hoshor, Kadin Hoshor, one great-grandchild; Raelynn Hoshor, a brother; Bill (Lori) Bassham of East Peoria, a brother in-law; Mark Tonsor, & by several nieces & nephews. In addition to her father & husband, Zoe was preceded in death by a sister Donna Tonsor and by a brother; Ray Bassham.

Memorial Services honoring Zoe’s life will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Littleton. Memorial contributions in memory of Zoe are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice. The Triplett & Wood Funeral Home of Rushville has been entrusted with the care & arrangements.
