Joseph "Joey" Gossage

Joseph “Joey” Gossage, 40, of Jacksonville, Illinois, passed away Saturday, January, 28, 2023 at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. Joey was born January 7^th, 1983, in Rushville, Illinois, the son of Gerald Dean and Karen Mangold Gossage.

Joey is survived by his father, Gerald Dean Gossage, and sisters: Amy (Ronnie) Petrie of Springfield IL and Danielle Kotalik of Loami, Illinois.

Joey was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Mangold Gossage.

Joseph was a graduate of Rushville-Industry High School.

Joey enjoyed playing video games and took lots of pride watching the drag races. Joey was loved by everyone and was a very loving person with a big smile. Joey loved and cherished his nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Joseph will be Thursday, February 2, 2023, between 5:00 and 7:00 PM at Triplett & Wood Funeral Home in Rushville, IL. Burial will be held at a later date.
